Clinical Specialisms
Delivering Advanced, Specialist Care Across Adult and Paediatric Practices
All of our occupational therapists are highly experienced clinicians, with a minimum of six years post-qualification experience and advanced practice within their specialist areas. This depth of expertise ensures confident, informed decision-making and consistently high standards of care. Our clinical specialisms span adult and paediatric occupational therapy, including rehabilitation, neurological and neurodevelopmental conditions, housing and equipment, orthopaedics, vocational rehabilitation, seating and postural management, wheelchairs, moving and handling, and sensory processing and integration.
Austism Specialisms
Stuart Brown Occupational Therapy is certified to utilise the gold standard Autism diagnostic tools
- Administration and coding of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule Second Edition (ADOS-2) to the level of Clinical Reliability
- Administration and Coding of the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R) to the level of Clinical Reliability
These tools have been outlined by the National Autistic Society Criteria and tools used in an autism assessment, NICE Products - Autism | Topic | NICE and SIGN Assessment, diagnosis and interventions for autism spectrum disorders guidelines, as tools to use in providing a formal diagnosis of Autism.
